When the Ontario Power Authority announced the development of the Feed-In Tariff Program, our client saw solar power as a way to help offset the rising costs of raising a large family.

Located in Peterborough’s developing North end, this family home has a spacious roof top that faces South West with no shading; the ideal location for a solar array. We designed and installed a micro-FIT array that used the existing roof-top to generate the secondary income needed. As the client was hosting an annual charity golf tournament and barbeque in the early summer, we needed to finish our work before the big day. Although the deadline was tight, when the guests arrived on that sunny summer afternoon, the array was installed and producing power (and income).
